A Little About Maria’s Role

Maria joined the Youable Emotional Health team in August 2022 and has worked in human services since 2014. She has experience working with children & teenagers, adults with substance use disorders at Hazelden Betty Ford. As a mental health worker Maria will work with and support youth through their time at Day Treatment. She is excited to work within a team that helps young people feel valued and empowered. She is eager to build connections with students and validating their identities. She is passionate about being open to continually learning and modeling healthy behaviors for students.

In her spare time, Maria enjoys hiking, visiting coffee shops with her dog Lilo and going to ASL game nights.
